Nestled along the shores of Lake Placid and surrounded by the breathtaking Adirondack Mountains, Lake Placid Lodge offers an unforgettable setting that feels both intimate and timeless. With its warm Great Camp architecture, crackling fireplaces, and sweeping views of water and peaks, the lodge invites guests to slow down and fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the moment. For our out-of-town friends and family, the journey becomes part of the celebration—arriving to fresh mountain air, tranquil lakeside mornings, and evenings filled with candlelight and quiet elegance. It is a place where nature, comfort, and understated luxury come together, creating a truly magical backdrop for a weekend of connection, celebration, and lasting memories.

If you are flying, the closest large airport is in Albany (just over 2hr drive away).
We recommend renting a vehicle for the weekend, and perhaps meeting up with others to share.
If driving from Michigan, you can expect a 10-12hr drive.

GOOD EATS
While we have dinner for Friday and Saturday covered, along with brunch on Sunday, you should have a few opportunities to explore quaint Lake Placid! Some of our favorites outside of Lake Placid Lodge include Emma’s Lake Placid Creamery, Capisce Coffee Bar, Smoke Signals BBQ, or Mirror Lake Inn.
ACTIVITIES
Lake Placid is known for it’s stunning Adirondak mountain views, and storied Olympic history! We encourage you to explore in any free time you have, including some of our favorites: High Falls Gorge hike, visit the Olympic Ski Jumps via gondola, or the Olympic Museum! If relaxation is more your vibe, we love the spa just down the street at Whiteface Lodge, or a quiet game of golf at Lake Placid Club Golf with picturesque views.
